Scripps Ranch Middle School Program Overview

Middle School:

How will the three-day program affect school work at home?

Students will receive on-site instruction in core subject areas and enrichment electives such as Engineering, Robotics, Seaperch ROV, & Art for three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and will be assigned weekly homework assignments to be completed from home for two days per week (Mondays and Fridays).

What flexibility do students have in their schedules?

Students can choose which study groups they would like to take on-site and what classes they prefer to learn through the choice program independently at home. If a student has a break in their schedule, there will be a supervised cybercafe where students can work independently. Attendance is required for all three days.

How many units will this program require?

The MS/HS 3-Day program will require 250 units per semester to cover the cost of instructional materials.
