Introducing TLC’s Parent Support Network

The Learning Choice Academy is excited to launch a new program this year — The Parent Support Network. This program is designed to help new parents as they transition to TLC and our hybrid-homeschool model of education.

This program was created following parent feedback that new families often experience a learning curve the first 6-8 weeks at TLC. It is a direct example of how the school is responding to feedback to make the parent and student experience even better.

Thanks to the support of returning parent volunteers, new parents will now be able to access three levels of support based on their needs and goals:

  1. Social Connection – through quarterly forums and ParentSquare groups.
  2. Help with Questions – through being connected to a returning parent volunteer
  3. Comprehensive Support – through being connected to a returning parent mentor.

If you are a new parent and you are interested in receiving support via The Parent Support network, ask your Office Manager for more information, or email kacie.desmond@learningchoice.org.
