Whether you choose our Hybrid Homeschool Program (3 days on-site, 2 days at home) or our fully flexible Homeschool Program, the decision-making power remains with you.
From day one, we’ll assign you an Educational Partner (EP) who works alongside you to craft a personalized learning plan that aligns with your family's values, schedule, and your child's needs. Your EP becomes a trusted partner, who can advise, guide, and support all the way from TK-12.
In our Homeschool Program, we can help you choose the curriculum that’s just right for your family. Our diverse catalog offers free curricula, from rigorous Singapore Math to engaging online programs. You select the resources that match your child's learning style without worrying about costs or quality. We can also help you decide on pacing - when to slow down and when to speed up depending on your child’s readiness - as well as provide guidance for assessments and navigating California homeschooling compliance. Having a certified teacher by your side means that you can make decisions that are best for your child, while you stay in the driver’s seat.
In our Hybrid Homeschool Program, students are assigned an Educational Partner and a teacher who provides high quality learning opportunities in a classroom setting three days a week. Classes are small and personalized and foster a positive learning community. During the two days at home, families remain closely involved in their child’s learning - whether it’s by attending a field trip or PE class together or helping their student with work the classroom teacher has assigned to be completed at home.

Whether your schedule is non-traditional and you need a curriculum that can flex with you, or you want a little more support for challenging high school courses and access to dual enrollment, TLC can help you create a customized plan that fits around your needs.

We know many families worry about supporting their children to engage in healthy social circles when they choose to homeschool. Both of our programs invite all enrolled families to attend our amazing meetups, events, and field trips. These are optional opportunities for our families, but they are well attended by all because they offer the chance to connect with others and explore our community together.
