Museum of the Holocaust High School tour

This tour focuses on the main historical events that occurred in Europe between 1933 and 1945. Students analyze artifacts and documents from the Museum’s collection, learning about deportation, life in the camps, acts of resistance, liberation and life after the war. After the tour, students participate in an extensive discussion with a Holocaust Survivor who adds personal testimony to the historical context.  Student are given space to reflect on concepts of identity, responsibility, memory, and their own lives in the context of history.

LAMOTH offers this field trip free of charge to high students and has grant funding available to cover transportation charges. Bus will pick up and drop off at SDCCU Stadium.

This field trip is open to TLC high school students with priority registration being given to Chula Vista 10th graders.
