HYBRID Program
The Hybrid Program is the perfect blend of flexible homeschooling with the support and community of a school. This is ideal for families who want to reap the benefits of both. Credentialed teachers instruct in core subjects during on-site classes 2-3 days a week (2 days a week at our Chula Vista location and 3 days a week at our La Mesa and San Diego school sites). High school students can also take tuition-free community college classes for credit. Our courses focus on collaboration and project-based learning. Enrichment electives are embedded in the classes, including art, music, and STEM. Students use a specified curriculum to work together during the semester. This program option allows students to receive more guidance, complete group work, and practice key concepts. Our caring teachers and small class sizes help students thrive.

Parents homeschool their students the other 2-3 days a week. The credentialed classroom teacher, also called an Educational Partner, supports the students and parents with homeschooling even when they are not on-site. Parents, students, and Educational Partners meet in-person every six weeks (learning period), although most families have much more frequent contact with their Educational Partner. Homeschool days give families extra time to connect, provide the flexibility to personalize learning even more, and ensure parents are actively involved in their student's education.
The Hybrid Program is available for grades K-12.
