M.A.R.S.H​ ​Field​ ​Trip
Marsh​ ​Awareness​ ​with​ ​Resources​ ​for​ ​Slough​ ​Habitats​ ​is​ ​a​ ​free​ ​field​ ​trip​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Tijuana​ ​River National​ ​estuary.​ ​M.A.R.S.H.​ ​was​ ​developed​ ​to​ ​introduce​ ​students​ ​to​ ​basic​ ​wetland​ ​and​ ​upland ecology​ ​and​ ​cultural​ ​history.​ ​Students​ ​will​ ​rotate​ ​through​ ​3​ ​hands-on​ ​activities​ ​which​ ​can​ ​include a​ ​feeding​ ​game,​ ​exhibits,​ ​bird​ ​observation​ ​and​ ​Estuary​ ​Bingo​ ​or​ ​Upland​ ​Plant​ ​observation. Grades​ ​K-6.
