Experience real-life chemistry with Advanced-Watershed-Ecosystems (A.W.E.) Learn the importance of variables such as salinity, pH, turbidity, and oxygen when it comes to monitoring the health of an ecosystem! Students will compare recorded data from their field work experience to current trends and scientific data.
This field trip is free for Middle and High School students with priority going to the science class students at TLC’s San Diego Resource Center.
Parent chaperones will be very limited and must be approved by SDRC science teacher, Jill Polese.
Carpools are encouraged. Drivers must park in the public parking lot and take the complimentary shuttle to and from the Living Coast Discovery Center. No younger siblings.
