AIM 5th Grade – Water Treatment Plant

AIM 5th Grade –

R.M. Levy Water Treatment Plant Tour

5th grade will be going on a tour of the water plant, which will take students past the control room, through the chemistry lab, over the mixing and sedimentation basins, and under the water filters.  The tour is aligned to AIM class learning in Science and CA standards.

This school field trip is being sponsored by Helix Water District and is providing a bus, so there is no fee to attend.  In order for the bus to safely load and unload students, it will be picking up and returning students at the Spring Street Trolley station, which is located just a block north of the TLC La Mesa Resource Center at 4260 Spring St. (at High St.).

All participants must ride bus.  TLC staff will chaperone students.  A limited number of parents may attend and ride the bus with students. All adults/parents attending must submit a copy of ID with the RSVP form.

For safety reasons, no younger siblings are allowed on the tour/field trip.
