At The Learning Choice Academy (TLC), we believe that education is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. That's why we offer a unique and flexible K-12 public hybrid homeschool program designed to meet the individual needs of our students and their families. Our Approach
TLC is all about choice. We understand that every student is different, and we embrace those differences. We offer two distinct program options:

100% Homeschool Program:
For families who prefer to educate their children entirely at home, we provide comprehensive support and resources to ensure academic success. Our dedicated teachers work closely with parents to develop a customized curriculum tailored to each student's needs.

Hybrid Program:
Looking for a balanced approach? Our hybrid program combines the best of both worlds. Students attend school three days a week, where they engage with peers and benefit from classroom instruction. The remaining two days are spent learning at home, allowing families to maintain a strong involvement in their child's education.

TLC IS A K-12 PUBLIC HYBRID HOMESCHOOL
We incorporate both school and parent involvement in educating students. Families can choose between a 100% homeschool program, or a hybrid program, with 3 days at school and 2 days at home.

OUR HISTORY
In May 2004, the San Diego Unified School District approved The Learning Choice Academy and authorized it to serve students in grades K–12. Currently, TLC has charters for all three school sites with sponsors from local districts including Chula Vista Elementary School District, Grossmont Union High School District, and San Diego Unified School District.
